Concours d’Elegance at French Lick Resort
How would you like to see Carroll Shelby’s personal 67 GT Convertible or a 68 Lamborghini built for, owned and driven by Feruccio Lamborghini? Those cars just scratch the surface of the automotive excellence at the 2014 Concours d’Elegance at French Lick benefitting Kosair Children's Hospital.
By the time you make your way through all 16 classes of almost flawless (at least to the untrained eye) beauties, you will be looking at cars valued at well over $100 million dollars. You’ll discover a classic roadster owned by retail giant F.W. Woolworth, a Cobra named “Most Iconic Car” at the highly-esteemed 2014 Concorso at Villa d’Este in Cernabbio, Italy and multiple entries bearing ribbons from prestigious Concours events at Pebble Beach, Amelia Island and Hilton Head.
To honor the 50th anniversary of the Mustang, we have named the Cars of Shelby American as one of the featured marques. Nearly three dozen vintage Shelbys will grace the show field, many of them known as the finest examples still existing.
We will also shine a spotlight on Indiana automotive heritage with ultra luxury models like Stutz, Duesenberg and Studebaker, all renowned for their craftsmanship.
Whether you’re a hard core car enthusiast or just someone who appreciates the beauty of the classic, the horsepower of muscle cars or the cars with celebrity connections, you will find plenty to keep you entertained at the 2014 Concours d’Elegance.
