Pediatric Orthopedic Care

Kosair Children’s Hospital and all its specialists understand that children are not just small adults. Children have their own special needs as they grow.  Our pediatric orthopedic surgeons treat a large percentage of children with associated syndromes and underlying diagnoses anomalies in addition to the typical orthopedic needs due to trauma, gait abnormalities and musculoskeletal pain.

Kosair Children’s Hospital Orthopedics of Louisville is a practice that is skilled in providing orthopedic care for young people whose musculoskeletal systems are still developing. We specialize in treating a wide variety of conditions that affect the growing bones and muscles of children and teenagers, from sprains and fractures to birth defects, bone diseases, neuromuscular conditions, sports injuries, food deformities, scoliosis, tumors and other disorders. Our orthopedists provide comprehensive orthopedic care for infants, children and teenagers in an environment that’s relaxing and reassuring to them and their families.
